By making payment you acknowledge the outstanding amount due to the fuel retailer.

Upon successful payment your licence plate will be taken off the national pre-pay list and a receipt will be sent to your nominated email account.

A processing fee is included in the total amount due. To avoid the fee, you can return to the fuel retailer’s site and make a payment in-store within 4 days of the IOU.

Should payment not be received within the 4 days then the outstanding amount will be escalated to Fuel Recovery Services where debt recovery fees will apply.

Notification of the collection of personal information

Scancam collects information relating to fuel obtained from fuel retailers. We may collect this information directly from fuel retailers, through video or audio recordings obtained through our CCTV technology, or from other third parties. Some of this information may be information or an opinion about you and may be classified as ‘Personal Information’ under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (Act).

We may use Personal Information to recover fuel related debts and to assist fuel retailers and their customers to identify and manage fuel theft and payments for fuel (Services). If we do not collect your Personal Information, we may not be able to identify you and may not be able to provide the Services to you.

So we can perform the Services, we may share any Personal Information we collect with our related bodies corporate, third-party suppliers and service providers, as well as courts and government departments where appropriate.
